Institute Presentation
The University of Bergen (UiB) is the most cited university in Norway, it includes 7 faculties and about 18 500 students and 4 000 faculty and staff. Around 2 000 of these are international students. About one in three graduating doctors are from outside Norway.
In PRIME, UiB will contribute to several work packages, using three main resources; Access to National medical registries, large data sets with genomic data from the Norwegian population and a research centre specializing in early-stage drug discovery. Multiple data sources will be exploited to identify causative mechanisms and targets for novel pharmacologic treatment strategies for comorbid mental and non-mental disorders through drug repurposing.
UiB declares no conflict of interest in PRIME.
